About

I’m a learn-as-I-go, stay at home wife and mother. I am also a certified, third-generation reflexologist and have my own business called Good for the Sole, which I do on the side. My passion is to create a healthy home and lifestyle through good food, pure products, and reflexology. Expanding my knowledge of the Word of God and the world He created brings great joy to my life. I strive to have a good sense of humor while reminding myself to keep life simple. Now, tell me about who you are! Either comment below or join me on Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest 🙂

If You Want To Know More…

I was raised in the same country home in rural Minnesota from the time I was born until I moved out at age eighteen. My family had chickens, llamas, emus, goats, and an assortment of other odd animals during my adolescent years. My parents started doing adult foster care out of our home when I was young and continue still to this day. I’ve gone to a Christian and Missionary Alliance Church since I was a very young age and have played drums for the worship band since my early teenage years.
I tell you all this because it’s shaped who I am today. Being blessed with an amazing family and childhood (but by no means even close to perfect) is something I appreciate very much and strive to continue on in my own family.
The summer after my high school graduation in 2009, I got married to a wonderful man named Joe. We live in a small farming town just north of where I grew up. Joe works for his families business and sells firewood as a side income for our family. He is a volunteer fireman (yes, one of the things that attracted me to him), an avid hunter and fisherman, a Godly man, and a wealth of knowledge.
We have a daughter, Gracie Rae, who is currently a year and a half, and two spoiled-rotten dogs named Kimber and Jewels. Our daughter is a sweet, independent, petite fireball who has brought endless amounts of joy to our lives. We’re just an everyday, American family striving for a Wholesome Home!

The Soul Of Wholesome Home

We all live in a fallen and degraded culture.

If we focus on the crumbling world around us, the evil debris will bury us alive.

The goal of Wholesome Home is to change our direction of focus.

To attempt steps towards purifying our bodies and simplifying our lives.

Let’s decide together to “fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith.” (Heb 12:2)

Leaning on God instead of attempting to stand in our own strength allows for amazing tasks to be accomplished and truths to be discovered.

I am so excited to share with you as I slowly learn to live in an “old fashioned” manner in our modern society!  The following topics will be covered: Healthy recipes, DIY tutorials and general living articles on Christian living and many other important topics.  I would like LOVE for you to join me on this journey!!!
